AI Ecommerce Listing Workflow: Product Facts, Visual Assets and Review
Prepare an ecommerce asset pack from verified product facts. Review copy, product images, optional video and music before adapting files for a listing.
An ecommerce asset pack starts with verified product facts, not an image model. Create a brief for one SKU, approve the copy and references, then prepare only the stills, video and music required for the listing. Generation and assembling an upload-ready pack are separate steps.
Keep one source sheet per SKU
Record the SKU, variant, dimensions, materials, included items, approved price information and supporting sources. Mark unknown details rather than filling them with plausible claims. Keep variant-specific packaging and labels attached to the right brief so an attractive image does not describe a different product.
| Asset | Input to approve | Review before handoff |
|---|---|---|
| Copy | Product facts, audience and prohibited claims | Numbers, specifications and promises match evidence |
| Hero or scene image | Product references, composition and protected details | Shape, label, logo and included items are correct |
| Optional demo video | Approved still or shot plan and motion intent | No invented functionality or product deformation |
| Optional music | Narration and rough timing | Music fits the edit and does not obscure speech |
Write copy before choosing visual samples
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, DeepSeek V4 Flash, GPT 5.6 Sol and Claude Sonnet 5 can be evaluated on the same source sheet. Check their drafts against the source rather than treating one model as a guaranteed high-throughput or compliance specialist. A model review is not approval to publish unsupported benefits.
Prompt templates
The original examples below are briefs to adapt. Product features must come from your source sheet; requested duration, readable logos, unchanged proportions and no vocals are targets to inspect, not guaranteed outputs.
Write ecommerce listing assets for a portable blender cup: 1 title, 5 bullets, a 180-word detail paragraph, and a 20-second voiceover. Credible, not hype; no medical claims. Output as a table.
White-cyclorama studio shot, portable blender cup at 45 degrees, soft light without hard shadows, logo readable, commercial hero, no extra fingers, garbled text, or watermarks.
Morning kitchen counter, blender cup beside sliced fruit, natural window light, lived-in but tidy, fit for the second screen of a listing, no heavy filters or overlaid text.
Keep bottle proportions and logo placement fixed, slow 15-degree orbit, one soft light flicker, clean background, no morphing or flying props.
Upbeat clean product demo bed, light electronic pop, no vocals, 30 seconds, warm and trustworthy, suitable under ecommerce voiceover.
Write a GPT Image 2.5 prompt for a smartwatch white-background hero at 45 degrees, metal finish, simple watch-face UI; include don’ts: no warped strap, no garbled UI, no watermark. Then add one Midjourney lifestyle-scene prompt.
Review product identity before making motion
For GPT Image 2.5 or another drawing mode, specify what may change and what must remain fixed. Inspect references, actual input requirements and available settings first. Compare GPT Image 2, Nano Banana 2 or Midjourney Image with the same brief if useful; do not assume a fixed draft/concept/polish ranking.
Check the image at delivery size: label text, product count, proportions, color and accessories. Put promotional copy into an editor if needed. A resolution setting is not evidence of accurate packaging. Save the last approved version before requesting another edit.
Only add video when the listing needs it. Check a supported Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0 Turbo or Google Veo 3.1 mode and its actual duration controls, then inspect the whole returned clip. A requested 15–30-second demonstration may require several shots and manual assembly; a chat script is not a finished clip.
For Suno 5.5, prepare mood and narration requirements after the rough edit is ready. Listen for vocals, check actual length and adjust volume, trim or fades in the editor. A still-only listing does not require a music track.
Three practical recipes
A: One SKU’s minimum pack
Approve a title and source-backed bullets, then review one hero and any required supporting view. Check files against the destination’s current specifications. Skip optional video and music when they do not serve the listing.
B: Copy, stills and a product demonstration
Lock the factual brief, select a visual direction and approve stills before testing motion. Assemble narration, captions and any music in an editor, then review the complete export against the same SKU sheet.
C: Reuse across channels
Adapt approved copy for a detail page, short video and customer-service response. Recheck product variants, crop and visible wording for each destination; reuse the evidence and approved asset IDs, not an unreviewed generated draft.
Before uploading the listing
Confirm SKU and variant consistency across text and visuals, prices and specifications, image dimensions, captions and audio. Check the destination’s current rules and relevant asset usage terms. Keep an approval record and actual usage costs. This workflow requires explicit downloads, edits and uploading; it does not publish a storefront automatically. No paid generation or listing upload was performed for this revision.
